Terms of Service

The service
Redesign Lab creates review-led websites and provides ongoing care where purchased. Care Plans include hosting, SEO foundations, and unlimited fair-use small edits. A small edit is text, hours, prices, services, menu items, photo swaps, or adding or removing an existing section type. New pages, redesigns, new features, ecommerce systems, and booking systems are outside this scope.
Your content and approval
You confirm that you have the right to provide any logos, photos, copy, and other materials you ask us to use. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your business information. You retain ownership and control of your domain, business content, uploaded assets, and customer data. Any client-provided materials transferred to you remain yours. We will ask for your approval before publishing your website.
Reviews and claims
We use public reviews and information from your own website with care. We do not invent quotes, awards, credentials, or facts. You are responsible for reviewing the final website before launch.
Preview credit and timing
A private inbound preview costs CAD $29. If you subscribe to a Care Plan within 14 days, that CAD $29 is credited toward your first plan payment. The preview expires seven days after we send it. No subscription starts until you approve it.
Pricing
Care Plans are CAD $790 per year or CAD $79 per month, with a $0 setup fee. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless we clearly state otherwise.
Licence and Redesign Lab materials
Redesign Lab retains ownership of the site design, code, templates, and underlying system. While your Care Plan is active, we license those materials to you for use with your business website. Your domain, business content, uploaded assets, and customer data remain under your control.
Cancellation and site deletion
You may cancel your Care Plan at any time. Your service continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then ends unless you renew or reactivate it. After cancellation, Redesign Lab keeps a minimal holding page for 30 days that preserves your business name, phone number, and hours. After that 30-day period, the hosted site is deleted.
Content export window
During the 30-day holding period, you may ask us for a reasonable export or delivery of the content we hold for your site. We will provide the available content and assets in a reasonable format or by reasonable delivery method; we do not promise automated export tooling or transfer of Redesign Lab design, code, templates, or underlying system.
Renewal
Monthly and annual Care Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will continue to provide the plan you selected while it remains active.
Failed payment
If a payment does not go through, we allow a 14-day grace period before pausing your service. Once the outstanding payment is resolved, we will reactivate the service as soon as reasonably possible.
Refunds
The CAD $29 private preview credit is non-refundable once build work begins. There is no refund for a preview that has already been delivered. The annual Care Plan includes a full refund within 30 days of the first annual payment, as shown at checkout. Any other plan-specific refund policy will be shown at checkout or in a written agreement; these terms do not create an additional refund policy.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service for unlawful activity or content, infringement of another person’s rights, malicious code, abuse, fraud, spam, interference with the service, or activity that threatens the security, availability, or rights of Redesign Lab, its service providers, or other people. We may pause or end service where reasonably necessary to address those risks or comply with law.
Disclaimer
We provide the service with reasonable care, but websites, third-party platforms, search engines, networks, and online services can change or fail. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties or guarantees that are not expressly stated in these terms, including any guarantee of uninterrupted availability, search ranking, leads, sales, or a particular business result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Redesign Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the service. To the extent permitted by law, Redesign Lab’s total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to Redesign Lab for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including non-waivable consumer rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Courts located in Ontario have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection law that applies to you.
